Marcelo Paez-Pereda is an award-winning neuroendocrinologist at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich, Germany. In 2010, he was appointed as Coordinator of Technology Transfer. Previously, he served in the management of Affectis Pharmaceuticals as Director of Drug Discovery. As an expert in neuroendocrine tumors, he conducted research for more than 20 years on the mechanisms that control the secretion of pituitary hormones, in particular in Cushing’s disease. He published numerous book chapters and original articles in prestigious scientific journals.
